I first discovered the amazing taste and texture of this flour when I bought 5 pound bags at the 99 cent store over ten years ago. When the entire marketplace changed and I couldn't find the product I loved anywhere, I followed the company and saw it was sold. My product was discontinued in the smaller packages. Because I loved the taste and texture of this flour so much, I finally bought it the only way available; in a 25 pound bag. Although, I needed to buy special bins to keep the flour fresh, I was able to use up the enormous bag in about 6 months. Here I am ordering my second 25 pound bag. I'm surprised how fast I actually used it up. I would prefer to purchase small bags, but it's only available for serious bakers in this super large size. I hope they decide to make this product available for more casual users in the future in a ten pound bag. Time will tell.
We bought 150 lbs of turkey flour as a thank-you gift for relatives. They love it, so we splurged and bought six 25 lb. boxes at $32.99 per box, only to learn today in a call to Costco that we could have purchased 45 lbs at Costco for $32.99, making my 150-lb. purchase almost twice as much as Lehi Mills’ price. Really?! My 1-star rating isn’t fair inasmuch as I have not tried the flour, but it reflects my disappointment.
Great product -- makes wonderful bread! Was delivered quickly, too.
