The Best Buttermilk Biscuit Recipe

Buttermilk Biscuit Recipe
Ingredient
For the Biscuit:
- 4 cups of Buttermilk Pancake mix
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/8 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 cup of butter, frozen
- 2 1/4 cups of buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- dash of cinnamon
For the Glaze:
- 1 tablespoon of butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons of honey
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- In a medium bowl, combine the buttermilk pancake mix, salt, baking soda, and baking powder with a whisk.
- Chop or grate frozen butter into dry ingredients. Combine with hands and add in honey.
- Knead dough on floured counter into rectangle about 1/2-1 inch thick.
- Cut dough into small rectangles or use circular cookie cutter.
- Place biscuits on tray, add glaze & bake for 18 minutes.
- Remove buttermilk biscuits from oven carefully, let cool, and enjoy! We recommend topping with butter or fresh jam.
