Q. Is Lehi Mills wheat treated with glyphosate?

This is a very uncommon practice throughout the United States for wheat growers to use glyphosate in a pre-harvest application.  The growers that Lehi Mills buys wheat from have assured us that they do not apply glyphosate at harvest.    For more details on how growers use glyphosate see:

Q. Is your flour bromated? 

No, our flour is not bromated.

 

Q. What is the protein content of your flours? 

A. Peacock All Purpose: 10-11.5% 

Turkey Bread(bleached and unbleached): 11.5-12.75%

Whole Wheat: minimum of 12.5%

Certified Organic:  11.2-12.5%

Artisan: 11.5-12.75%

 

Q. What is the difference between bread flour and all-purpose flour? 

A. Our bread flour has a higher protein content which provides a higher gluten content.

 

Q. Do we mill any other grains

A. No, we are exclusively a hard wheat mill.

 

Q. Where does your wheat come from? 

A. Our wheat is grown within a 300-mile radius of the Mill. We’ve been receiving wheat from many of our farmers for generations.

 

Q. Do we have any gluten-free flour or mixes?

A. No, we mill wheat, so there is no way to produce gluten-free flour or mixes in our facility. We would need to have a separate facility and equipment to produce gluten-free flour or mixes.

 

Q. Where can I buy your buckets of wheat?

A. We sell our 45 lb. buckets of heard wheat exclusively through Costco along the Wasatch Front

 

Q. Do you offer tours at the Mill?

A. No, we do not offer tours.

A. 1906

 

Q. Are you a nut-free facility?

A. Yes, we are a nut-free facility

 

Q. Do you ship internationally?

A. No, we are unable to ship outside the United States at this time. 

 

Q. Do you ship to a PO Box?

A. No, we are unabel to to ship to a PO Box.

A. You can place an order on our website Lehimills.com. We do not take phone orders. We do not ship from our retail store in Lehi.
