In October 2018, Lehi Mills went on air with ABC 4 Good Morning Utah host Emily Clark to celebrate National Farmers Day (October 12). Good Morning Utah is a daily morning news show that has cooking segments, news, and much more. The show airs weekdays from 4:30-7 am.
Good Morning Utah did a segment celebrating National Farmers Day with Lehi Mills. During the segment, Emily Clark teamed up with VP of Marketing Stephanie Evans-Stock and Chief Operating Officer Brock Knight in the ABC4 kitchen to showcase Lehi Mills’ new mixes.
During the segment, Stephanie, Brock, and Emily flipped pancakes and talked about Lehi Mills’ flour milling process. Later, they highlighted the superior quality of the wheat and walked through the process. They mentioned that Lehi Mills flour is sourced from local farmers within a 300-mile radius of the mill.
They also highlighted that the mill is involved in the process from the time that the seed is planted until the time of the harvest. The mill hand picks each batch of wheat and checks it for quality. If the quality isn’t up to the mill’s high standards, Lehi Mills won’t use it to make its premium flour.
Towards the end of the segment, Emily featured the new branding. Stephanie brought in the newly designed mix boxes that were not available in stores at the time. They commented on the new packaging’s nod to the mills’ history while maintaining a fresh, clean, look.
They finished the segment by featuring the website and inviting viewers to check out the new mixes.
