What goes together better than butter and cornbread, especially in the hot summertime heat? Seriously, imagine warm, fresh from the oven cornbread slathered with a delectable flavored butter — yum.

Maple Bacon Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of butter, unsalted and softened
  • 4-8 slices of bacon
  • 4 1/2 - 6 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Directions

  1. Beat or whip the butter until creamy.
  2. Pour in the maple syrup, salt, and bacon pieces and fold into butter with a spatula.
  3. Serve with Lehi Mills cornbread!

Jalapeno Lime Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of butter, unsalted and softened
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 jalapeno, diced
  • 1 small lime, zested
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons of lime juice, fresh

Directions:

  1. Beat or whip the butter until creamy.
  2. Stir in the salt, jalapeno, zested lime, and lime juice. If you want more of a kick, add in the jalapeno seeds or more jalapeno.
  3. Serve with Lehi Mills cornbread!

Honey Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of butter, unsalted and softened
  • 4 - 6 tablespoons of honey
  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt

Directions:

  1. Beat or whip the butter until creamy.
  2. Pour in the honey and salt and stir with a spatula.
  3. Serve with Lehi Mills cornbread!

Mini Cornbread Bites

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. In a medium bowl combine cornbread mix and water.
  3. Use a small cookie scoop to spoon cornbread batter into a greased or lined mini muffin pan.
  4. Bake for muffins for 8 - 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Enjoy your cornbread bites while warm and slathered in one of your favorite butter recipes!
